These films offer a rare opportunity to hear directly from children and young adults who have experienced separation and divorce. Their honesty, humor, and insight provide a window into what children may be thinking and feeling—but may not know how to say.

We hope these films help you better understand your own kids’ experience and remind you that even small choices can make this journey a little easier for them.

FIND A QUIET TIME TO WATCH THE FILMS

Choose a time to watch when your children aren’t with you—after bedtime, during the school day, or while they’re with the other parent. Watching on your own gives you space to reflect on what you hear and feel, and to consider how the insights shared by the SPLIT children can help you make choices that make this transition easier for your own children.

At the end of each film, you’ll see a link to a brief questionnaire. Your responses are anonymous and will not be shared with the court.

The questionnaire confirms that you have watched the film.

Receive Your CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Once you complete the short questionnaire, a personalized CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION will be issued in your name.

Download the certificate, save it to your phone or computer, and/or print it to provide to the court if requested.

If you choose to share the films with your children, we encourage you to watch them yourself first and read the Tips for Parents before watching together.
